A little background before I finally got a good print. I started my first Print in 2 years thanks to Xayoz posting of the STL file that misplaced.. www.printables.com/model/317026-improve ... elt-holder Am using for my 1st 3D Printing project Cura 15.04.6 as the print specs stated that the print would finish in 25 minutes. Where as PrusaSlicer stated the the same print would take about 2 1/4 hours This being my first 3D Printing project in 2 years decided on the fastest timed slicer this being Cura 15.04.6. Will worry about quality of print later just want all 3D Printers running at this ..read more

I 3D Printed a few repair parts for my Hictop 3DP11/12 Printers photos shown below Repair Parts.jpg Not bad for years old filament that was left in a plastic box in a non heated / cooled garage for almost 2 years. Hi I'm making on progress on planning my first machine and am now looking for some recommendations to hopefully avoid buying the wrong components. Spindle and VFD I'm considering these: VFD 3.7KW 5HP 17A 220V Variable Frequency Drive Motor Inverter https://www.oyostepper.it/category-79-b ... uenza.html and Air Cooled 220V 2.2KW 8A 24000RPM 400Hz ER20 Collet https://www.oyostepper.it/category-76-b ... o-CNC.html This will be my first time with a VFD and "proper" Spindle - how does a 2.2KW spindle compare to a Dewalt 1/4 router (as this is the only reference I have)? The machine will be us ..read more

Hi Guys, gold whatsapp I don't own a UM3, but wouldn't fixing that involve removing the cover, adjusting the mainboard slightly, then securing it back in place? Often, these screws might have some play, and if the cover and board shift relative to each other due to the screws, it could lead to this issue. Hi, Not owning a UM3, but addressing this could entail uncovering the device, tweaking the mainboard alignment, and resecuring it. Hey, I think fixing and tweaking the mainboard alignmet is now need a renovation after 6 years... Haha, after six years, it's not surprising that some mai ..read more

That is a very good response Le Paul. My Raspberry Pi 2's were replaced with Raspberry Pi 3's at this time. I was using the USB 3 ports for camera's. Then I only took one photo at the end of each layer, showing a layer by layer still frame video when played back. This means at the End of each layer the build plate moved to a designated location one photo was taken then the print continued. any suggestions.
