Hi, I am starting a BDS degree next year. I want to do dentistry because I want to apply a skill to help people in the medical field. Dentistry seems to be the right mix of academic depth with raw skill without the interminable training path of medicine. Hi guys I plan to do Pharmacy at UQ this year and thinking of upgrading to Dentistry at UQ the next year. I read that the GPA threshold is 5.8 and was just wondering how much effort and how likely it is to get that GPA? (especially from Pharmacy) What portion of people would obtain that GPA? What sort of grade/percentage would be needed? Any help would be appreciated I have a VERY low GPA from my 2 years at Uni (due to being a useless pot head - but now 3yrs reformed) I left with the equivelant of an Australian Diploma, I have good Highschool scores in Bio, chem, geo, Eng, (ABBC) and am 1/3 way through my dental nurse training which I am acing due to it being piss easy.
