He wasn’t a one-and-done, but he was close. Former Oregon basketball center Kel’el Ware, who transferred to Indiana after one season in Eugene, has declared for the NBA draft in June. Ware, a 7-footer from North Little Rock, Ark. played 30 games as a Hoosier this past season after playing 35 games as a Duck in his freshman season. He was hampered with an ankle injury towards the end of this year in Bloomington. But before the injury, Ware was productive as he averaged 15.9 points a game and 9.9 rebounds for the Hoosiers. Those numbers were significantly better than his only season under Dana A ..read more

Oregon rallies for four runs and stuns Seattle in 10 innings
Ducks Wire

It was just how Mark Wasikowski and the Ducks drew it up. That plan, obviously, was to wait out a 70-minute weather delay, give up three runs in the top of the 10th, and then use two infield hits, a deflection into center field, two hit batsmen, and a single from Drew Smith to score two more and stun Seattle University 5-4. All right, this scenario wouldn’t be No. 1 on the list in ways to win a game, but that’s exactly how Oregon captured the opening contest of a four-game non-conference series with the Redhawks. It was 1-1 after nine innings that was a rare midweek pitching duel. But that end ..read more

Miller says Nix would “give the Raiders’ offense the dual-threat aspect it needs for new coordinator Luke Getsy. The R ..read more
