I have since removed the old p trap adapter fitting so now it's an 1 1/2 drain coming from the wall. Hi all, Looking for advice on my approach for raising the height of the toilet flange in a bathroom I am renovating. I have the old flooring torn out down to the subfloor on which the flange is currently sitting on. The flange is in good shape fitted over 3" pipe, the OSB subfloor is OK - it passes the screw driver poke test but its evident that water got on it (staining and rusted screws). So timer tells valve(s) to open and pump to start. I'm posting this from India although I think principles will be the same as in the West: though over here, automatic top-load washing machines tend to be smaller & simpler (no intake pumps on common models) and water pressure tends to be quite low. My problem: I need to increase the water pressure, probably by adding a pump at the water intake of the clothes washer.
