My wife & I both had the Duodenal Switch about a year ago. I lost 150 lbs and she lost about 80 lbs. we have one thing in common that we don't understand. As soon as we get done eating we both get running noses and start sneezing. We asked our surgan about this and he said he has never heard of this in his 35 years of performing this surgery. Surgey is scheduled for May 1st. Have my pre-op visit with the surgeon tomorrow morning. I feel like ever since I got my date, time has been nothing but a blur because I have been so anxious. So many appointments, on top of getting my stuff together and organized at work for my replacement, so she can ease into the position. Doesn't help that this is a super busy time of the year at work and I'm leaving right in the middle of it. I just have to keep telling myself that it will all be worth... Read more ..read more
