They are perfect for your sewing room, Shirley!! Maybe you could paint at least one wall as an accent, if you can't get to all of the walls. Statistics: Posted by KarenVA — Thu Apr 18, 2024 1:47 pm ..read more

Good morning sweet peeps! No sewing yesterday! Rob's dad came by to visit. He is so brokenhearted over losing his wife and Rob and I try to be present for him. She was in a car accident the day I was admitted for my ruptured appendix. We both believe he is depressed but he won't talk to a professional. I know that would help him work through the grief. I invited him back for dinner tonight. Anyway, maybe today I will get to back to my diaper sets. If not, when I get them finished, they will go in my gift stash for later. I am off to hop in the shower and head to the gym. Enjoy your day!! S ..read more

I finally got this done, and Bailey hung it today. I've had the fabric for a while. The background is a light teal which I've used in here whenever I can. If I'd had time before moving in, I would have had the walls painted. That couldn't happen so I'm trying to decorate with cute stuff. (My blinds look dirty, but they're not. That's just a shadow. ) Statistics: Posted by ShirleyC — Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:13 am ..read more

Those are so very sweet! I used to make the hankie bonnets and attach a poem to give a bride-to-be. The first baby could also wear it. Statistics: Posted by ShirleyC — Wed Apr 17, 2024 6:28 pm ..read more

Good afternoon ladies! Angela - sorry you didn't get any sewing in yesterday. Hope you will today. The secret to the porch pollen for the most part is our Eze Breeze windows. We have them open when we are out on the porch, so during heavy pollen season, some pollen gets in while they are open. We close them up when we go in at the end of the day. So, I only vacuum the rug once a month (or less) and wipe down the tables at the same time. There is minimal pollen. Once a year we move the furniture and hose down the porch - the flooring is Trex, so the excess water falls to the ground underneath ..read more

Back from the store and I was very good today and did not stop at crumbl cookies! There was a very high temptation level Shirley, I have no idea why posting about the tool box has people upset, good grief!! Lowes has them for $20.00. I think they are so cute. Nancy, we will see about the weeds, so far nothing. I am sure the neighbor across the street is also tired of looking at the mess. Maybe I can get some sewing done today Statistics: Posted by nonie — Wed Apr 17, 2024 5:09 pm ..read more

Good Morning Ladies. Jamie and I did our neighborhood walk this morning. I finally FINISHED pulling the grass and weeds out of the flowerbed in the backyard. Since snakes are out and about, I left some weeds that were under the Sago Palm and will not stick my hand somewhere that I can't see. Angela, every spring the power companies shut down some of the generators to do maintenance and ERCOT always says we might have power outages. Hope you get to see your sewing room this afternoon. Nonie, hope the neighbor gets the weeds pulled. Shirley, hope you get to go to Keenagers. Nancy, hope your all ..read more
