Thanks everyone. Just letting you all know I commissioned Dr Jennifer Martin to do some digging (records only!) into my ancestor and she has found a Kean in the Deer park town lands. You ask about Mary's maiden name. It should appear in the records of the church where they married, if you know where that was and if the records still exist.
