Strange one this. I have an Acolyte Ultra 13 ft float rod, and used to have it matched to a Daiwa TDM 3012 reel. Fished with this pairing for some years, and would constantly be watching out for line wrap arounds, which I often intercepted just in time. I found quite a lot of line twist with this reel, and thought nothing of it most. Suppose I just got used to it. Drove an hour and a half to fish Docklow Pools on Sunday, Lovely fishery. Sun was shining, caught around 20lb of Ide and roach, including what was probably a new pb behemoth of a roach (left scales at home.) I have a concoction I have been doing well with for bream fishing, a sweet fishmeal mixed with brown crumb, mollases and tinned corn juice and tinned hemp juice with some blended bloodworm pellets. I mixed up way too much a few weeks ago, I have froze it and thawed it a couple of times now. I have a kilo of the dry mix, so no major issue...but I do hate to waste anything. Is it worth keeping?
