Over on the Watch forum there was a long discussion some time ago about how reliable - or not - the label Made in Switzerland was. It turns out that as long as the watch is assembled in Switzerland, and it doesn't even have to be the whole watch, the bits which go to make up the watch can be from anywhere - usually China. I know this has been asked before bot I cant find it. A friend of mine has two graphene century super matches with tight spigots. he's phoned century and they told him to use PTFE spray and work it with no success. So I'm thinking about buying a couple of blanks to build my own beach rods. I'm tempted by the harrison p2 blanks as I love harrison carp and specialist blanks. The rods I currently own and plan to sell have glass tips. I was just wondering if there were any downsides to carbon tips and braided mainline?
