Been going to Mallard nearly all week now and it’s starting to look pretty good. The walleye are as consistent as ever and I even managed a rare Mallard pike at 27 inches. The bass have been pretty absent but I’ve caught a couple eating my walleye shiners here and there, Somehow I haven’t come across any crappie even though I would really expect them to feed off the dock in this weather. The Walleye have been all over the place in terms of size, My buddy...

Hello,
I am looking for a way to target deep pools. I found this for the Kankakee river at Bass Pro shop: Kankakee River (IL/IN Line to Illinois River) Fishing Map (fishinghotspots.com)
I bought it and love it! I have a few spots marked already to go and visit. Only thing is the Kankakee is far from where I live and I'd like to find something similar for the Fox river. Last year I tried fishing the tailwaters of...

Finally found a good time to target the Muskie in the main dam of Busse Woods and it was real slow, me and a buddy threw chubs ranging from 3 inches to 8 inches looking for anything big enough to bite them, mainly walleye on the smaller chubs and muskie on the big ones. We didn‘t get a bite for a couple hours but we saw a muskie swimming up to the cubed concrete dividers right under the bridge. After a. While the Ski came back and I dropped a chub on his face from my light rod because my...

No spinning wheel needed. Rains had the Dupe up, no time to hit the Kank. Pond crappie. Water temp 51.5 degrees at 2pm. No blacks, only whites always about 20 yards out and in about 6' of water and scattered across banks with chop from the wind. Rarely two or more from the same area, had to keep walking. Berkley slow sink spybait working best midcolumn, particularly to cover water. Few on float and jig. One on a 92mm jerkbait. One bass over the few hours I was out, not sure what their deal...

Anyone know a good over repair shop? The igniter on our stove has gone haywire & keeps firing. Unplugged the stove to see if it would reset. Nope. Looked up how to replace it on YouTube & while I think I could do it I'm not sure I want to bother.
Thanks in advance ..read more
