Reading through the regulations, I was wondering what the reasoning was for two of the regulations;
1. No open season for mussels or clams
2. For all crayfish species, the head must be immediately
removed behind the eyes upon capture unless used as bait in
the water from which taken.

I hear they they are in there, not in huge numbers or size , but they are there. According to the Pa stocking website they stock a few 1000 fry each year. Anyone ever caught any/do well there ..read more

IDK if this is the right forum for my rant with the usps Pittsburgh distribution centre. I have ordered fishing reel parts and supplies from 4 different sellers. The packages get sent out quick from the hunting & fishing dealers, but once the package arrives at Pittsburgh my packages died. I got 3 packages late and have 1 that had died there since the 11th of April.
I had no issue with the Warrensdale distribution center. Tracking my packages, if it was in warrensdale I got it that day or...

It means different things to differ people. I've grown to hate crowds, and all the shenanigans associated with them. So for the last decade I've been going to pymatuning to fish.

Hi Everyone: Our family has a small pond (about 150' x 75' and 6' deep). When I was a kid, it was loaded with shiners. Back then, there were no bass, just various sunfish and we used to stock it with trout. At some point a neighbor started stocking LM bass in there. It was great fishing for about the next decade but now the shiners have been completely gone for about 25 years.
