I am best man in my best friends wedding coming up in May. He is generally a fly and salt water fisherman. I do fly and freshwater. He recently got an ice fishing setup, but is very inexperienced. He has expressed interest in doing an ice fishing trip for his bachelor party. Probably 15 guys, only 3-4 that fish regularly. Basically he thinks it would be fun to drink some beers in a shack with his buddies but we would need an outfitter to provide all the gear. I have done some research but everything I find is like multi day ice fishing retreats that are $1200-1500/person with lodging and food ..read more

I’m starting to get the bug. So I hooked up the ice house and pulled it around the block just to make sure I knew how. ?

Just curious everyone’s thoughts on ideal wheeler size/HP/cc overall for running and gunning on the ice. I’m 5’9 160 and usually camp out so would be daisy chaining a sled or two. Have never owned an ATV or anything so just some opinions would be great. Not looking for a snowmobile, would like something I can use to some capacity four seasons. Thanks ahead of time

Hoping you guys can help me out. I’m think about buying a pop up. Was wondering if you can fit a cot in an otter cabin or would I have to step up to a lodge?

Would like some input on what you guys are running. I currently have a 93 and want to upgrade to a bigger and better screen. I have used the 106 in the past with a buddy and love it but am wondering if the 126 will be too big and heavy. I do open water fish as well so the 126 would be nice but don't wanna be weighed down in the winter by the 126 if its just too cumber sum. Thanks in advance!

I need a outdoor winter activity, preferably something not terribly expensive. I already am into hunting, shooting, fly fishing, motorcycles, and pocket jewelry of various kinds. How expensive is ice fishing? I always dread winter because I have no hobbies that get me outside.

Hi all. I am brand new to ice fishing and have no idea what to do. I don't know anyone that ice fishes so I don't really have any guidance. I did buy a ice fishing tent, pole, and auger, that's about all I have right now. How do I know where to set up on the ice and that it's thick enough to do so?
