It is Thursday, August 11 2022, and Crypto Art also known as Art minted as non fungible tokens on a blockchain, has been riding a wave for over a year. You can find many types and genres of art in Web3. One of them is Still Life Photography Crypto Art. I joined the Crypto Art world at the end of Spring 2021 because I saw value in the technology and what it can do for art. I especially saw what provenance on the blockchain can do for photography art.
In web3, you will find all types of creatives, from one of one artists to people who use art as a tool. Categorized under one of one art, you will ..read more

The current debate in the NFT PFP circle is the project, Moonbirds, and the CC0 license. The founder of Proof Collective and Moonbirds, Kevin Rose, recently made an announcement that all Moonbirds and Moonbirds Oddities will now carry the CC0 license. If you are not familiar with the CC0 license, it simply means, that the art attached to the token will now be in Public Domain.
I wrote about CC0 here so feel free to read up on it. Why is this important now and for the future of how people plan out their non fungible token projects? Well, Moonbirds is one of the most talked abou ..read more

The 21st century has seen a continued appreciation for Still Life Art. Unlike the 17th century, when paintings were the primary medium used to depict still life, we now have artists who use photography to create Still Life Art. I am one of those Artists. My love for this genre has led me down an artistic path that I am proud to explore. It has also led me to want to research further. During my research, I have found a huge gap that has led me to one very important question; what did African Still Life Art in the 17th Century look like?
An anomaly of an Artist

Top Photographers in NFTs on Solana are finding success exploring the Solana Blockchain. NFT Photography is becoming more notable by the day. As the NFT space continues to grow, so do the available blockchains to collect NFTs. Solana is one of the most popular blockchains to purchase your NFTs. Probably the most popular next to Ethereum. Although Solana is picking up pace with PFP Projects, it is still not a chain explored by many photographers in NFTs.
With the current trend, you will surely find pacesetters that move with the times. This gives collectors the option of picking their ..read more

NFT Photography is soaring, so it felt appropriate to kick off my first post of the year with a post about Photography NFTs on Solana. If you are already into NFTs, then you know the most popular blockchain currently being used to trade NFTs is Ethereum. As popular as Ethereum is, it does have one major drawback and that is in its gas fees and sometimes its speed.
Gas fees are the fees paid to the miner to record your transaction on the blockchain. Those fees can range from double to triple-digit numbers. Due to this fact, some people look for alternative blockchains to purchase and list ..read more

There has been a big debate in the NFT twitter circle about NFT CC0 and creative commons, more specifically the CC0/ CC Zero license. My take was, for 1/1 Art NFTs, CC0 might be a bit premature. Of course, some agreed with me, while some disagreed.
Personally, and regarding my art, I do not believe CC0 is the right license for any of my works of art. Well, at least not right now. I do not create hundreds of pieces a year, and the traditional rights model works just fine for me. This obviously doesn’t mean every artist must follow in these same steps. I do however believe; it is imperative for ..read more

Food Photography NFT is still a pretty new concept. Throughout history, the use of food in Art has been a way for Artists not just to show their skills, but to add symbolism to their work, by using something that is essential to our survival: food. As times change, and with the introduction of new technology, you now see contemporary fine art artists like myself, being able to offer Fine Art Food Photography NFTs, more specifically Still Life with Food.

As a Fine Art Photographer who shoots food, I see a lot of people who think Photography is as easy as picking up a camera and pressing the shutter. It is not. Photography can take years to master. It can also take weeks of planning, to execute 1 final image, and hours, sometimes into the night, to get the shot you want.
My Personal Experience with Photography
I’ll give you an example. In my collection of Still Life with Food fine art, Still Life with Figs took me days of first figuring out and planning how I would depict what I wanted to convey. I then had to wait for the figs to ripen to the ..read more
