After a few busy weeks of getting the Pilates studio ready, our doors our finally open. The Pilates reformers have been delivered and put together, the walls repainted, and floors scrubbed, and the mat class timetable created and published, things are finally ready to go. Happy to report that I've had few bookings for private classes on the reformer and same for the mat classes...ready for the slow burn though. My business goal is to have the studio be self-sufficient within three months. And this is totally doable! The main thing I wish to portray at Pilates Dundee is how important the qualit ..read more

As business is picking up, I'm happy to now be available in Dundee for Pilates sessions on Wednesdays from 9am-12pm and from 6pm-7pm. I've also adjusted the time table slightly for the group classes. For the lunch crowd and after-work workout crowds, I've added reformer classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 12pm and 6pm. And for the early birds out there, I've also added a 9am reformer class on Saturday. As we keep growing, my colleague Maggie at Butterfly Effect and I are starting to feel the pinch a bit and we've started looking around for a new location. A little bird told us that it MIGHT be ..read more

Normally this time of year, Pilates studios and gyms would be bombarding you with images of six pac abs and inviting you to smash your fitness goals and transform your body. However, if you know me, you know that is not my style. Instead I wish you all the ability to relish in the little happinesses you may find in the everyday and the optimism and strength to bravely keep putting one foot in fr ..read more
