I’m reading The House of Broken Bricks by Fiona Williams, a family drama about a mixed race marriage and their ‘rainbow’ twins, one black and one white. I’m also juggling two Pigeonhole books, The Heart of Her Garden by Zoe Richards, an uplifting story of friendship and community, and The Echoes of Us by Emma Steele, a Time Traveller’s Wife sort of story - I don’t think it’s going to have a happy ending. It was shown in the UK earlier this year, not sure what the response to the cast change has been, as I didn't watch it myself. Statistics: Posted by Madeleine — Sun May 26, 2024 1:09 pm ..read more
