I’m reading The Cloisters by Katy Hays, gothic fiction set in New York about a would-be curatorial associate who is assigned instead to the Cloisters as a research assistant, looking into the powers of divination and she comes across a mysterious, believed-to-be lost pack of 15thC tarot cards and it all leads to a murder.
I've got this one too!

Oh, we're still going. OK, just finished the long-awaited Terry Hayes The Year of the Locust audiobook. Started out great, but then the twist. Not my cup of tea, although he is quite a writer. Now on to Kristin Hannah's The Women. Good so far, but she's no Hayes. Sometimes I compare writers of books I read before or after & wish a certain story was told by a different writer. So the search for the perfect book must continue...

I’m now reading The Family Home by Lorraine Mace, a contemporary psychological thriller. It’s a book I’ve received to review.
I’m also reading via Pigeonhole The Shadow Key by Susan Stoles Chapman, a creepy gothic thriller involving magic and Welsh mythology set in Wales in 1783.
