Hey Guys, I need some help trying to figure out what my problem might me. Quick notes: My friend's young son was gifted a preowned gaming PC. She asked me to help him set it up. Upon inspection, I found that the previous owner had removed the CPU. The motherboard is an Asus B450M-A II (AM4) so I recommended the AMD Ryzen 5 5500, which she bought. Afternoon all, so I went and fired up my original xbox for the first time in years and when upon switching on at the mains I heard two pops. I switched it off immediately and lo and behold inside were two bulging caps. I've never changed caps before however I'm looking to learn and replace them myself. I'm just wondering what do I need? Right guys I have the asrock x870e nova, I had a 7800x3d cpu and 64gb corsair dominator 6800mhz, I changed the cpu for a 9800x3d it worked fine but games kept crashing so went back to a 7800x3d but on first boot up I'm getting a C5 error, I've tried resetting the cmos but no joy, any ideas guys, thanks ..read more

Bit complicated this... I have recently built a pc and installed windows 10. Its connected to the network and the media library shows up on the other pcs / lappies on the network and on my Smart TV, including the local pc. However the pc does not show up in the Computers section Network page on my system, even locally, but I can see the other pcs and send files to their shared folders. Why the hell don't motherboard manufacturers still put a driver disk in the box, I've just installed my asrock x870e nova and I can't download the drivers as a need to connect an ethernet cable but my router is downstairs and I can't carry the heavy arse pc as I have an aneurysm of the aorta and my daughter has taken my laptop to uni...so buggered, this why they should still put a driver disk in the box even if they are older driver as it will get you up and running, tried downloading to my... Hey all. Bit of an odd one but my PS5 has started to trip the electrics, just the fuse on the 32A ring main it's on, not the whole shebang. Now I thought the fuse may be going but it's the on the same circuit with things like the washing machine which was happily on yesterday (until I also started gaming). It's tripped three times.
