I purchased my 5 motif VCA Alhambra bracelet in 2018. I removed two links from it in December 2023 via the workshop, and I noticed that clothing has been snagging on it lately. I looked at it further, and there is actually a sizeable opening in the connection near the lobster claw (O ring). I called VCA and was told there would likely be a fee to repair this, but I just had it resized 4 months ago, and this was likely an issue from the repair. Hi all, I’ve fallen in love with the Hermes Bolide - the shape, the slight slouch of the mou version, and the lack of visible logo. However, I cannot justify spending that much on what is essentially a plain (but very well made) leather bag. I love the LV Alma which is very similar, but while the price is good, I don’t like the stiffness of the Epi leather. Beware! For some time now there is a constant number of fake Tod's on Vestiaire. The difference is quite easy to spot as the metal plate ist completely different. Hi! It’s been challenging with covid to decide between the two bracelets. I managed to find a Sweet Alhambra and got sizers that are about the Vintage size to try on to help me resize the bracelet.
