I suspect that it is gone forever, but I thought I'd ask anyway... Scenario: Win 10 with a SSD drive. It was acting buggy, so I installed Windows from a recover (thumb) drive that I made when I got the laptop. Then I reinstalled MS Office 365 (and a bunch of other stuff). Only then, did I remember the homemade tool I made with VBA. I'm 99% sure it was in my old Normal.dot file. I tried a deep scan with Recuva, but no luck. I wrote some code to colour lines in a table when I run the macro. The works fine in the template document itself (.docm), but when I open a document from the template it doesn't work. I've a button to press, and also one on the ribbon (although I believe this is just the same thing in two different places). Are there any known incompatibilities between these two versions? My company uses Office 365, and while I'm sure it's fine for most users, I'm a technical writer and the access to styles in the web versions is flat out nonsense. I've tried to use my copy of office 2016 instead, and sometimes when i open the file formatting is mucked up. Has anyone else run into this? Hi There This is my first post on the forum, so apologies if the format isn't quite right. I modified the "Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files" code kindly posted here so suit my needs. I was able to complete my task, but had a few annoying niggles. The screen kept updating. I had intended to stop this but new Word windows kept opening with each individual file. I experienced what appears to be the same error described here. This is why I commented out the ".Close SaveChanges:=False" line in the code - otherwise Word would crash. Hi, I'm using outlook.live.com for personal email. This week the Report button for phishing emails seems to have stopped working. Normally in the Junk Email folder you can select the relevant emails to report, then click 'Report' and the emails are reported and deleted. Now, when you click on the Report button, the emails seem to disappear, but when you navigate back to the Junk Email folder, all the emails are still there.
