I'm using a button "btnProcess" to save an excel file using MSOFileDialogSaveAS vba to open a file path for users to save to a folder in the open path or from there navigate to a desired path of the user. Below is what I have designed to open the path to \Acctstmt. Every time I press btnProcess I get the error message "Compile error: Variable not Defined" highlighting "Set FDir = Application.FileDialog (msoFileDialogSaveAs)" in the vba code editor. I have a form with a query subform on it and two unbound text boxes. The goal is to add command buttons each filtering the date Between user input in unbound text boxes and between a specific disability. would be a command button for each of the disabilities we recognize. Greetings, We receive monthly payments that a former employee used to input in the access db manually. In doing so, the Col_ID field (PK) is auto generated. Now, I would like to import the payments that is in excel to an existing access table. The column heading in excel (attached) spreadsheet exactly matches the field headings in access table. Col_ID in ms access is a primary key usually auto populated by the DB when someone enters a new payment. Currently, the Col_ID field in my excel is blank. Hi- I have a contact table in Access 2021 that holds contact emails and the various distribution lists they are subscribed to. I'd like to make a "List Generator" form where a user can select 1 or more distribution list name(s) from a list box then hit a button to generate a list containing the Email_address and Dist_List name(s) to be exported to Excel. Hi All, I have a new database created and have finished my table structure and relationships and think I have that locked. I had a snag I hit where I have 3 tables where data entry is performed at different stages of my process. I have incoming commissions checks paid weekly. My process is this: 1. Access non-expert here, so sorry if this is a newbie-ish question. I have a simple relational database with 2 tables, each record in Table A relates to many records in Table B. I have a master form that has both tables next to one another, related via a master text field. You select a record in Table A and all the related records display in Table B. So far so good. One of Table B's fields is a multi-line text field. I want that field to grow/shrink depending on the amount of text in it, and I also want to be able to edit the field.
