One way to test just the scenery LOD, is to load in with the C152, but leave it parked and off, and just use the drone camera. You can speed up how fast it moves in the toolbar > camera settings, and can fly as fast and far as you like. Head747: the sim closes but remains in the task bar and I have to close it with the task manager. I’m not in beta. I’ll echo the comment here. From the rest of the comments, it seems like this might have ticked up in occurrence on the SU15 Beta build, so more people are seeing it, but my experience has been ongoing for many many months, probably over a year now, where more than half of my sessions end with the sim staying active in the task bar and only being able to kill it with Task Manager.
