LCS SK 19/FX barrel version

I got the LCS SK 19 in .22 caliber and it can shoot slugs. Right now I'm running the Javelin 23 grain .218's at 950 fps and I have no problem with accuracy picking off starlings, pigeons and other pest birds at 100 yards plus. The trigger pull long and rolling but it has never been a problem for me shooting. In fact for whatever reason is easier to stay on target during trigger up take. I rarely shoot the rifle in full auto but instead like the semi-auto feature for quick follow up shots at... LCS SK 19/FX barrel version ..read more

Currently have mine taken a part. Polished the receiver tube. Made a spring guide rod for it. Have the parts to work on the trigger. Packed the hollow butt stock with a grout/tile working sponge. Added a slip on recoil pad to extend the length of pull. Going to paint the stock, black poly is kind of boring lol. Cleaned the bore. Going to degrease and relube everything. Want you sleeve the piston, any one know of a suitable material for this that is 0.50mm thick? The gap is about... Hatsan alpha ..read more

Molybdenum disulfide

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if the automotive moly grease is compatible with being used as lube on a springer with a metal coil spring? Just thinking about it for my new Hatsan Alpha as I have heard it can make the gun less twangy and smooth out the shot cycle. Trying to decide between this or Tune in a Tube. Any ideas on lubing a springer will be greatly appreciated, thanks ..read more

Swapped my Tomcat (From 2240 crazy thread) back into its original pistol form. Works great that way and I have two other carbines, so keeping it this way. Plus it just looks cool. Think I'm going to build a standard size pistol next, but do all the power mods ..read more

Just completed this ground up build. Started as a .22 carbine that I recently bought and tweaked a bit. I converted it to .177 and it's shooting heavy (10.34 gr) pellets at an average of 635 fps and over 9 ft lbs for about 40 shots. Work done... 24" .177 barrel Extended probe Custom bolt handle 2240 main tube replaced with 2260 long tube Inner valve/poppet spring replaced with 30% lighter spring (more power) Target hammer spring (easier to cock and offset by lighter valve spring) DIY hammer... Hey all, hope I don't come across as simple in the head but do any of you keep records of your airgun shooting? I am looking for a template to use to keep such records. I suppose I can make my own, unless someone has done it already lol. I am thinking I should include things like temperature, wind conditions, ammo weight, distance to target and results on target, will need to get a chrony too to record velocity. So is there something I can print out for this record and do you all have... Record keeping for airgun range day ..read more
