Steve, I won't be doing any more .257 testing for a while, until the new 78 gr. and 90 gr. NOE BBT's are out.... When that happens, I could include the 257388, but I would prefer as cast, I can size to 0.257".... Keep me in mind when you are running that mould again, please.... 20 slugs would be enough for testing.... Bob ..read more

I can send you some Arsenal (Lyman) 257388 slugs I have that mold and have some that are powdercoated. Don't think I have any not powdercoated. Thank you, Bob, for your always clear and detailed reports of your tests. ?? Yes, this is interesting and helpful as I will soon begin testing hollow point pellets in .22, and .30 pellets and slugs as well. I will be doing quite a bit of shooting as I only have three chronographs to capture velocities (muzzle and two more ranges). Not just the data but your interpretations of the data I find particularly helpful, Bob. Cheers, keep up the good work. ? Matthias ..read more

Please keep us informed of any news from FX.... The range is certainly impressive, if we can get complete data streams, and the ability to save and use the information on a computer it will be a great unit.... Bob ..read more

Okay, the temperature was 66°, the humidity was 45%. Set at 300 yards (as far as you can set it), over regular old ground with some weeds, it easily measured a consistent 300 yards on every shot. I made darn sure the radar beam was aimed just like FX says to. I have a .20 caliber break barrel, but did not bring it with me. My .177 pump gun, shooting the 8.04 Predator pellets, shoots at ≈720 with 6 pumps. It hits the ground before it gets to 300 yards, but the FX does read it to 75 yards most of the time at ≈410 (slight 45° wind). As I recall, the BC measured .02 something. That is asking for ..read more

The Crosman Model 1100 Trap Master is is a .380 bore CO2 shotgun using special re-loadable shot shells. It features a hardwood stock and forearm with all metal construction. They were manufactured from 1968 to 1971. The shells can be loaded with 64 grains of shot or 67 grain .375 lead roundballs. There are two power settings low and high.
