Hi gang:
I am running a regression macro where I submit a X range of x variables, and
a Y range of Y data.
I make sure that my X range contains the same number of rows as my Y range.
However, when my x range (which is 15 variables) contains 15 rows, I get
this error:
Regression - the number of rows and columns in X range cannot be the same
Why is this? Is there a workaround?

I have a barcode reader and I want to scan boxes in to excel.
I need to scan a part number to a1 and then scan the serial number in to
b1. (Which works fine) but then I want to cursor to auto move down to a2
ready for the next barcode input. How can I do this, at the moment the cursor

How can I remove a cell pattern without affecting the cell color or gridlines?
Here is what happened. I have a spreadsheet that is 100x100 cells. The
cells had various colors applied using the Format Cells/Patterns/Cell Shading
dialog. I temporarily wanted to flag these cells as DO NOT EDIT by adding a
pattern (light dots) using the Format Cells/Patterns/Pattern dialog. I went
back to remove the pattern using the same dialog, but the gridlines are no

I have a workbook that was created in Excel 2003, and has been fine for the
past few months since I've moved to Excel 2007. About 2 weeks ago my
workbook shrunk so that it uses up only about 50% of the viewable area on the
work area window. Normally, you would be able to click on the Maximize
button, or double-click the Title Bar, to expand the sheet to the full window
size, but Maximize, Minimize, and Exit are not showing on the Title Bar of

Hello,
I am trying to display the value of a static cell ("F3") in a text box
within a user form. The user should not have to take any action to
display this value--it is being used as a confirmation of a file
creation and provides instructions as to what the user should do
next. The value within the text box is the file name, which is being
written to cell "F3" of my worksheet. Any help anyone could provide
would be appreciated!

Hi, I have created a report by linking the worksheet with the balances to a
new worksheet as such: Account Name, Account Number, Dr & Cr. The Dr and Cr
columns contain the value of the calculation performed on the previous
worksheet. eg C8=CALCULATIONS!O10. I am looking for a function/formula that
will hide a row when the Dr(C8) and Cr(D8) balances are zero?
