I had the unpleasant surprise of being denied access to security because I didn’t have a paper boarding pass—only a mobile boarding pass which seems accepted everywhere else in the world. This was at Krabi Airport, Terminal 3 and I had a flight to Singapore that day. All the agent knew to tell me was “Immigration” as the reason for needing a paper boarding pass—they required this of all passengers. I’ll be in Thailand in late June, early July this year and have 9 nights to spend between flights from and back to Bangkok. I’m looking at the Gulf of Thailand side due to the Monsoon season.
