Hi everyone, I am going to Thailand from July 31st until August 13th. I am aware that most of the country will be in monsoon season. I will be in Bangkok from August 2nd to 4th, Chiang Mai from Aug 4th to 7th, and Koh Samui/Phangan from August 7th until the 13th. I really wanted to go to Phuket but read Koh Samui will be in dry season and Phuket will be rain season so I didnt want to risk that part of the trip being ruined. I would love to know how easily I can do this, the jobs I can apply for and if it's possible to fully immigrate to Thailand. My partner and I have travel insurance that covers all hospital and medical needs (we’re in Thailand holidaying from Australia) Just wondering if we rent a bike here, which the scooter isn’t covered under the policy which is fine. So my friend and his brother arrived in Thailand yesterday from the UK. When they arrived here, border control checked their passports, almost out of thin air, a near empty coke bagee spawned inside his passport for the border control officer to find. He’s looked up, shocked at how it got in there. They arrested him and let his brother without the bagee/packet go. They’ve weighed up the contents and it came up to 0.002g of coke or something ridiculously small like that.
