One More Chapter signs Foluso Agbaje's 'beautiful debut' in two-book deal

One More Chapter has signed The Parlour Wife, a "poignant" story about Nigerian women during the Second World War, from debut novelist Foluso Agbaje, in a two-book deal.  Editor Ajebowale Roberts bought world all-language rights from Emily Glenister at DHH Literary Agency. Raven Books has secured the next two books in Femi Kayode’s Philip Taiwo series. Publishing director Alison Hennessey acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Harry Illingworth. Josh Kendall at Mullholland (Hachette) has acquired the US rights to the two books and will publish alongside the UK. The series follows investigative psychologist Taiwo, who has moved back to Nigeria with his family after years spent working in the US.
