2 large onions sliced, 2 tablespoons cooking oil , 1 pound sausage links ,1 (16 ounce ) can tonatoes ,3 cups cooked rice ,1/2 cup grated Cheddar or American cheese. Saure` onions in oil . Remove to bowl .Brown sausage links and cut into thirds . Mix onionand sausage with tomatoes with juice and rice . Pour into a buttered casserole dish . Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour . 15 muntes before ends , sprinkle with grated cheese. Serves 8 ..read more

4 whole chicken legs ( drum and thighs) , 3/4 cup uncooked regular rice ,1 ( 10.5 ounce ) can cream of celery or cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup ( your choice) , 2 1/2 cans of water ,1 package dried onion soup . 6 hard boiled eggs , 3/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham ,1/4 cup mayonnaise , 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish, 2 teaspoons spicey brown mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt , 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper . Years ago my mother in law use to make this lima bean recipe and I can't remember if she baked it or cooked it on top of the stove, all I remember is how good it was! I knew she used brown sugar, onion, mustard and either ham or bacon and maybe more or less. Now, I wished I'd of got the recipe from her.
So, I'm wondering if any of my cooking friends on here have any good Lima Bean Recipes you'd share, maybe one will be the same or close to what my MIL cooked ..read more
