In understanding the Universe, it seems that quantum theory, according to most physicists, is the final mysterious frontier of cosmic science. If so, I believe that this boundary can only be understood fully by a Mind possessing omniscience: God. The serpent in the Garden of Eden successfully conned Adam and Eve into believing they could achieve omniscience, and we all know what happened after that mother-of-all conceited errors...

I have seen, over the past months, many panel discussions and debates about the subject of whether Muslim culture is inferior or worse than, let's call it "Western, Judeo-Christian" culture. It may be that the Muslim culture that is in the public eye is Shia culture as opposed to Sunni culture. I don't know.
But the question also comes up when speaking of "indigenous" cultures in the America's, Australia, and elsewhere. "Who are we to come in and declare that our culture is superior?"

That's right. Another thread about truth, lies and all that sort of thing. This is one is about what the TRUTH is. I have seen many opinions on the matter. Even though I didn't ask for them. But now, I will tell you what the truth really is. All you have to do is just think of something you wouldn't be allowed to say here. Or just about anyplace else for that matter. Chances are, that is the truth ..read more

If the world is a reflection of the beliefs people hold about themselves it is because people believe they are what they think they are.
People are not their...

I tried to ask in another thread who here supports the truth. Nobody said they do. With that being the case, maybe you would care to tell me WHY YOU SUPPORT LIES! Give me your best philosophical reasoning as to why you support lies instead of truth. Maybe I can cure you. But be forewarned. If you don't speak truthfully on the matter, it will go nowhere. And if that is where you would prefer it to go, please don't reply at all ..read more

Scientists have long sought to bring order to our universe through the application of formulas.
Einstein created what is probably the most recognized formula with his explanation of energy as "E = mc²". The Greek philosopher Pythagoras has been given credit for stating the relationship between two legs of a right triangle and its hypotenuse. Calculus, with its many different equations, sits on the shoulders of Isaac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz who labored during the 1600s.
But what these...

NO
Yet this 2 letter one syllable word is one of the hardest things for people to say.
People think saying yes is what opens possibilities but it's just the opposite.
When you realize your time and energy (physical and mental) are limited then you see that saying no actually is saying yes to the things you care about the most.
I think the conflict arises because most people haven't defined the things that matter to them the most ..read more
