Hi, I am going to uni in a few months and am looking for a laptop to replace my 2017 macbook pro. I'm used to both windows and mac as I also have a PC. I slightly prefer windows but this laptop will likely not be used for much gaming. I'll be studying maths and computing. I've already researched the XPS 13/15 and the M3 Macbook pro but am not an expert in laptops so can't decide. Hey everyone, I'm trying to find a laptop with the Radeon RX 7900M in Europe to replace my current laptop and desktop, so I only have 1 system. However I can only find the Radeon 7600S with the Asus Tuf A16, for about 1050 EUR. Anything above that is impossible to find. Only the Alienware m16 can be bought with the 12 core Ryzen 9 7845HX, which is a beast, but only an RX 7600M XT, comparable to an RTX 4060, for over 2000 EUR.   Are there any other Radeon options for sale in the EU? Hello there   I am usually not in the laptop market, as I have mostly been working on workstations throughout my career. I am starting a new job soon, and I get to pick my own laptop as long as it runs Windows (probably for enrollment reasons), and I am looking for some recommendations. The budget is not that important, as my employer is paying.   I will be using it mostly for running Linux tools on WSL2 and developing .NET applications and having 1902 tabs open in my browser. I do some light photo/video editing (manly photo) in Lightroom (Canon CR3 files) and Resolve (Studio), most some 1080p 50 or maybe 4K IPB. Dont need to back up on the laptop it self (i have external back up running) so a 512 GB internal is fine for most. i found my old XO and i was wondering if it can be used for anything, looking around i saw a couple of videos on people loading windows xp on this old laptop, does anyone know how to load this? i think i read that i needed a new sd card only for windows and apps but I'm not sure if i can just use regular windows xp or if there is a custom iso i need for it.   if not, is there a way to load something like moonlight to it to use remote play and the screen in the game pad like configuration?   all help is appreciated, thanks ..read more
