My laptop has been making weird noises for a while. At first it was just a ticking noise that I ignored, but now I started hearing a grinding noise. I don't know if this is something bad or harmful. Maybe I should just ignore it, but it doesn't sound good. I attached 2 files with the sounds in a WeTransfer link since I can't attach mp3 files. Now since yesterday my pc randomly restarts after I launch a game. Maybe these 2 things could be related. Anyhow does anyone have any idea as to what... Read more ..read more

Hi, I'm having an issue with my C disk filling up by itself. Lately, it went from 154 GB to 131 GB. I don't know if that might be a virus or something else, I don't think I have visited websites containing viruses lately, but I have an impression that it has also started to affect my WiFi connection which has become weaker and I often have to disconnect and reconnect it for it to work properly. I would really appreciate your help ..read more

Hello! I have a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x which is almost always plugged in on my desk. A few days ago I took it downstairs, unplugged, to do some work. When it got down to about 40% I took it back upstairs, put it on charge, and went about my day. Later on, when I went back upstairs, I realised it wasn't charging. I made sure it hadn't come loose anywhere, which it hadn't, then tried a few common fixes: restarting it, scanning for updates, scanning for issues, troubleshooting, re-downloading... Hi, I have an unusual issue I believe. My Dell laptop with Windows 10 is constantly running low on storage despite the fact that I have deleted 100GB+ of files multiple times over the last couple weeks, including files from OneDrive. I have deleted 60GB of files a few days ago and now it says my storage is full again and I only have 144MB left. Total storage is 256GB. I DID NOT download anything at all, I only use Chrome on my laptop and have no large software installed. I use Kaspersky for... Read more ..read more

Hello. I have an Acer laptop and yesterday when I boot it up I got this preparing automatic repair screen. I decided to leave it on and wait but by the time I returned it was still on that screen. I kept shutting it down and booting up again an trying to access to boot menu by clicking F12 but it doesn't seem to work. Force shutting down over and over again also didn't do anything. Is there any ways I could bypass this screen without having to take it to a repair shop ..read more

Hello, Model: huawei Matebook D16 OS: windows 11 Bios: InsydeH20 setup utility v 2.17. The power button on my laptop does not work anymore. I manage to turn on the laptop by disconnecting the battery and plugin the charger. That s not practical since it means the laptop has to be plugged in all the time. I'm looking for ways to turn on my laptop without using the power button. First idea was to setup a random keyboard key to turn on the laptop. But I do not have this option in the bios... Hi guys, ASUS Rog Strix G513QC owner (3 x USB ports, 1 x USB-C port). The other day I plugged in a old 2008 wired Logitech mouse and keyboard (I didn't have my usual peripherals at the time). After unplugging the devices, my laptop keyboard wasn't working. Fast forward a week, I tried plugging in my usual peripherals. However, I've noticed neither are "connecting" to one of the USB ports and no devices are connecting to the USB-C port. The other two USB ports work. However, when I plug an... Read more ..read more
