I picked up on the link provided in the OABA website and watched Pat Taylor's 'Lumberjack Boom Dog' video. Pat's narrative on the subject matter is informative and engaging. Watching Pat  forge a Boom Dog from 1/2" round bar was fascinating to say the least. I found this video inspiring, and I'm wondering where else in my forging journey I'll be able to use the techniques he demonstrated. I'm heading off to the forge right after this is posted to make a Boom Dog of my own in an attempt to cement in my mind the process and forging skill I just observed.
