I'm now a SOAPER! What is a SOAPER? Well, it's someone who makes soap! :) I've fallen behind on my blog posts so I thought I would start catching up by starting here. The older I get the more I get interested in doing things I've never done before. Are you like this too? I've admired good soap for a long time, but it never dawned on me to make it. It's funny how things come full circle. I spent 6 years when I was younger working in the beauty industry. This included skincare, makeup, and good-smelling soaps and lotions. How strange is it that it never occurred to me to go down this road before ..read more

“Love yourself first, and everything else falls in line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” ~ Lucille Ball I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I say most because I didn’t officially go on my first diet until I was 12. I am 49 years old so for 37 years I have battled the scale. If it was down, I felt good about myself. If it was up, I was mentally beating myself up. I have missed so many things in life because I felt too fat, too out of shape, and/or too out of place. One day, I had just had enough. I decided that I needed to do something. I want ..read more
