Hi,
I'm new here and I just bought both the 10mm carbine and pistol.
The carbine works fine, and the pistol gets periodic failure to feeds. I called Hi-Point on thursday and the rep said it's a known issue with the serial number range of my pistol. So he's sending replacement parts. I think he said springs, but might be more. Yesterday I took a closer look at the problem and figured out why it's happening.
I can reproduce the misfeeds by slowly releasing the slide until it pulls a...

Hey, recently I bought a YC9 brand new from a local reliable pawn shop, but every time I go to fire it the mag falls, like after each shot, Ive adjusted my grip so I don't believe it's the release being hit by me, but I have no idea at this point, any help ..read more

New to hipoint. Enjoy the 9mm carbine so far. Thinking of getting the yc9 but don't like the grip(to short). My question is this. Is there a full sized 9mm pistol or can I mod a 45 frame to use 9mm slide and mags ..read more

I was wondering if I my original model c Hi-Point, could use the slide from the model c9. On the original model c , the sights are not adjustable, and the slide doesn’t lock back. Being that I keep hearing that they are basically the same firearm, I was wondering can I update my old fellow here ..read more

Are the JHP45 pistol and 4595TS carbine magazines compatible? Meaning, can I use JHP45 magazines in the 4595TS and can I use 4595TS magazines in the JHP45?
I doubt this is the first time this question has been asked. I tried searching several different key word combinations with no luck. Also the visual pictures of both magazines look the same, but I'm not sure if the image is 100% accurate. You would think that this would be a selling point feature to point out in marketing, but nothing is...

So after firing or chambering and unchambering manually the shell is being pulled out of the barrel but instead of being ejected out the side it just lays ontop of the next shell coming in and jams. I have replaced shells, springs, clips and even replaced the barrel and new slide with extractor. The problem still exist.
So it's not the extractor. I have 2 identical jcp 40's and nothing looks different in the slightest detail and one works perfect. I heard that it may be a part called the...

I know and have experience with interchanging a hi point 380 and 9mm by switching the barrels and recoil springs, but i have no experience with either the 40 or 45, so my question is, are the 40 and 45 built on the same frame and is it possible to switch between the two with an appropriate barrel, spring, and slide ..read more

I purchased a C9 about a month ago, it was the "Home Security Package" version with the lockbox. No problems going through a local FFL after ordering it online - felt like it was a good deal at $140, brand new.
I do plan to get another handgun for my actual CCW down the road but for now I do plan to use this. The state I live in (Maine) allows for constitutional open and concealed carry. I have opted to apply for my concealed permit, in the event legislature changes and/or to allow for...

If you have one; take out the spring and put the follower back in. How many rounds will physically fit into the mag?
Being a stack and a half mag; just seems like it should hold more then it does?
