I grabbed this ruby pocket pistol from a local gunstore for $80. I have tried to use the pinned post to figure out what it is but I have had no luck. It has this neat magazine that hinges down at the bottom? I cannot even find pictures of another magazine like this one. It has Z.C stamped on the bottom. There are lion stamps on the frame, slide and barrel. As well as a Shield with an X in it and a crown on top on the frame. And an A with a star above it also on the frame. [ATTACH... Astra 900 rebarreled to 9mm by the Spanish factory

About a year ago, I acquired a Astra 900 through a local gun store. The Astra is in the near perfect condition with aftermarket grips. The gun also has a Mauser stock that came with it. That is one of the rarer Mauser stocks with Mauser‘s logo carved onto it. I’m starting this thread because I’m wondering if anyone else has a Astra 900 that has been re-barreled to 9 mm (not 9 mm Largo.). And based off a Spanish proof stamp on the barrel, it looks like this was re-barreled by factory. All... Astra 900 rebarreled to 9mm by the Spanish factory ..read more

Star 28DA - the most gorgeous of them all

Yesterday I picked up my 3rd Star 28, which makes sense given that I have a thing for this design line starting with it and it’s iterations (28, 28DA, 28PK), through 30s (30M, 30MI, 30PK), and the 31P. Though I’ve sporadically seen 28s listed in GB, I’ve had great been very fortunate connecting with importers who’ve hooked me up. First was the guy who ran Armamentos in West Palm Beach who got me two primo 28s out of Spain, and now this one that recently came out of Israel. I don’t think I’ve... Hello everyone....on one of my trips to a lgs I saw that they had a 28pk... 30pk.... 30mi and a 30m ... Each was in nice shape and and with a hard box .... They were each priced at 275.00 .... I grabbed them all except the 30m ... All were in good shape and I like the feel ...I know very little if anything about these ... Should I go back and grab the last one?.... The 28 had an oblong square with something that look like yiddish writing on it ..read more

I found this one over the weekend, unfortunately missing its cocking lever. But otherwise it’s in good condition for one of these, and made in 1924. I’m pretty happy it’s in a common caliber as well ..read more

hi all, i've run across a Llama in .380 dated to 1942 (N) that looks almost exactly like my Llama in .380 dated to 1955 (A1) except it doesn't have "Llama Especial" on the one side of the slide. the other side is identical. it has the grip safety and a straight front strap. for reference it looks just like the pic of the model III on the Llama page. at this point all i've seen are pics. is it safe to assume that this gun is a model III? other than the straight front strap and roll marks are... I just picked up a 600/43. For regular cleaning after shooting do most folks just remove the slide and leave the barrel, recoil spring attached for cleaning? Taking the recoil spring out after every range trip seems like a pain ..read more
