I ordered a VP40 threaded barrel to use on my silencer. However, I didn't think about the threads, and I wonder if that would make any issues however I am thinking not. HK's VP40 threaded barrel on it's site is 14.5 X 1 left hand. The one I ordered is from Rim Country MFG RCM HK STYLE VP40 BARREL, 9/16-24 TPI. This may be a stupid question to some, but I am very unfamiliar with the LEM trigger. Do you smoothly and continuously pull through like a traditional DA? As I have said on many threads here, this particular gun just doesn't work for me. I can't shoot it straight to save my life and the back strap beats my thumb knuckle up. The only reason I hold on to it is that I suspect it may gain in value. Not sure why, probably not a rational conclusion. But I wonder what you folks think. I too have been in the market for one. I currently have a HK P2000SK which has been my daily concealed carry for 10 years or more, and have shot literally thousands of rounds in it, I have dropped it at least once on hard concrete and works perfectly. The only things I have replaced was the night sights, the rear one would fall. However, I think its time for a new one simply because of its age.
