So next on the list for CO gun grabbers are handguns with threaded barrels…
When it comes to suppressing 9mm and 22lr pistols, what models of pistol will host the suppressor the best?
Just looking for general shooting, orientating new shooters, competitions(?).
Are the Ruger 22lr still the standard for 22lr handguns and suppressing?
On the 9mm, do any handguns stand out?
Not afraid of spending cash, but I don’t need gold-plated ..read more

I'm interested in the HS EPS full-size 6 moa green dot optic for a .40 M&P 2.0 carry.
I understand this full size optic uses the 507K mount pattern.
-I was looking at Primary Machine to do the work. The verbiage makes it seem like the rear sight dovetail is not touched. The picture suggests otherwise. Is it left alone if I choose "mount optic in front of rear sight"?
-This appears to result in a direct, plate-less mount, fitted to my optic. (Have to send in optic) Does it?
-If the above is true, will i be able to see the factory sights a little?
-It seems like this puts the optic clos ..read more

Had the occasion to drive through Jackson, MS and remembered that Birdsong (now W. E. BIRDSONG & ASSOCIATES, INC.) is just south of Jackson. I dropped a couple worn West Germans, a HK P7 PSP and Sig P6 (i.e. P225). They were as friendly as I remember years and years ago when I last spoke to them. There are even more color options, the same pricing, and they very busy as well with individual and contract work (glad to see).
I chose Black-T for both, although was thinking about two tone (between Green, Brown, Tan, Black) and looking forward to May-June delivery. I'll post pictures in the su ..read more

I have a question for you guys...
I have a S&W M&P 9 that I like quite a bit. It has somewhere between 7 to 9k rounds through it. Front night site, 5 mags, and a holster plus a single mag carrier. So I'm not terribly invested into.
I've always suspected [read really want to be true so I can blame my misses] that's its one of the guns with a loose barrel and probably isn't that accurate so I want to have an Apex barrel fitted. Along with that an Apex trigger I also want to mill out the slide and put an RDS on it. Add a TLR 1 for good measure.
Now here is the rub. It's been discontinu ..read more

Hey guys, this is for anyone who has a Glock 43X, do you have trigger bite/slap,etc? In fairness mine really isn't a true Glock I bought a SCT frame from Aimsurplus and put the rest together with Brownells slide/bbl, etc. Anyway, after getting it all together and thinking I saved myself $100+ bucks I'm finding out I might not of saved anything, LOL! The lower frame came complete so I just needed the slide and mags to hit the range. The dam thing is about tearing your trigger finger off, kinda sucks. So, I'm wondering if this is common with 43X pistols or just the configuration I have. Thanks f ..read more

Anyone who's done the armorer course or otherwise has any info - did factory minus connectors just dry up? I can find aftermarket ones all over but can't seem to find a source for the factory ones any longer. I'm that guy who prefers the minus connector with the NY1 trigger spring and have been trying to outfit a Gen 5 26 I picked up ..read more

Really?
Once again I look for something simple and find nobody makes it.
This can't be right. I expected 8 models of steel framed 9mm 1911's with threaded barrels just from Tissas!
A 2/3 sized 1911 in .32 or .380, threaded, would be neat, too. Yea, I know ..read more

Picked this up the other day. Has a 4.5 inch barrel and came with night sights and three mags, plus an array of optic plates and hardware. My first foray into the 509 world. For those of you that own 509's, have you had good experiences with them ..read more
