Hello everyone, I'm a new G2C owner and I have seen that some owners replace the factory recoil spring assembly with a SS option from Lakeline or Galloway. I am considering doing this but want to know the pros & cons of this modification. What has been your experience? Son purchased a 15rd G3 full size and I am looking at purchasing a 17rd magazine p/n 358-0021-01 for it. I am confused as to fitment as there seems to be no difference at the base of the 15 rd or 17 rd G3 when looking at them on the Taurus Arms site. Is the 17rd Taurus grip/magwell longer than the 15 rd G3? Or the pictures incorrect and there is a magazine base plate sleeve to cover the longer 17 rd magazine? Hello all, I've been handling firearms since I was 6. I've been carrying for some years now and come across something the other day while a regular cleaning. I dropped the mag, racked the slide to eject the chambered round and found this! This round was not dropped or even touched once it was chambered at the end of the last regular cleaning (approximately a month). The projectile seemingly went into the casing a bit. I just installed the Galloway spring kit on my PT111 G2. It comes with a striker spring, striker block spring and trigger spring. I'm using the stock trigger. I also have the Lakeline SS striker guide. It definitely lightens up the pull. I haven't tested it at the range yet, but it feels nice. I'll keep you posted ..read more
