I bought a Kel-Tech P17 (22 cal) to shoot at the range for practice. Things had been going well for a box of Blazer lead round nose, and I was impressed with the accuracy. Then I bought a box of Remington Thunder bolt high velocity ammunition. Within 200 rounds the pistol was shooting 4” high and 3” to the left. I couldn’t figure it out until I started clean the barrel. How the heck do you clean the lead out of the end 1/3 rd of the barrel? I’m horrified by how much lead that Remington has... Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Although it looks like it from the photo, the ramp still feels smooth (not polished smooth) but is black with a brown discoloration down its middle. 200 rounds with no issues. It appears that this ramp is a metal piece set in polymer. Just wondering if this can be cleaned and polished. Otherwise, anything I should be concerned about? Thanks ..read more

Hello I recently picked up a Beretta 92f. My question is how to date it. There are no proofs, date code, markings anywhere on the frame. Serial number on frame is C91450Z that is it. Slide is marked Left side PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T.-MADE IN ITALY. PB IN OVAL Right side MOD.92F-CAL.9 Parabellum-PATENTED BERETTA USA CORP.,ACKK,MD.
