#15 1974 Austin Marina, nothing else comes close. I flogged that car trying to kill it but it would not die, so kind of fun in a sick way trying to kill it. Had an MGB motor and 4 speed, brown paint and tan interior, the car that destroyed the British auto industry. #18 I had a 1992 Buick Park Avenue: the engine (one of the famed 3800s) was rock solid but everything else? Welcome to the 8th annual Stanley Cup Challenge. Point system remains the same as always has been 1 point for picking the winner of the series with a bonus point available if you pick the winner plus the exact number of games it takes to win the series (4,5,6,or 7) For all rounds after the first round the point totals increase to 2 points for a correct pick and a bonus 2 points if picking the correct winner plus the correct number of games. Finishing Rick Mears autobiography and the last chapter has a picture of Gil Deferran and it struck me how sad his passing is even though I haven’t thought about it much. I started to think about how to honor him in May and I would like to see IMS do something like they did for Wheldon in 2012. #5 1996 Mazda 626. Mechanically reliable, but had weird design quirks that made it annoying to live with. Leased, and happy when the lease ran out. #5a I missed the submission deadline but my worst car was a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire 4 door. We desperately needed wheels so my FIL took the "initiative" to get his buddy to give us a "good deal" on this hunk of plastic and sadness.
