K-Mag to Kick Sauber?

Binnotto has been asked about the priority of getting a driver in the the second seat, he feels it's a high priority and so do I... along with the advanced funding* to boost team moral, as I see an uphill slog for a team hung out to dry by the incomming owners simply because it can save them a few quid early on. However, I feel that Kevin Magnussen would make an ideal partner for the development stages of the new SAudi team, he's worked with and often supported Nico Hulkenberg on many... Newey to Aston Martin!

It looks like Newey has signed on the dotted line to work for Aston Martin, $30m a year, and it's been negotiated for him to start as soon as March 2025, that Eddie Jordan's a sly one. I imagine that Aston Martin along with the Honda engineers that Newey already knows, are gonna take their place at the top for a few years until the rules change infavour of... Ferrari, I guess them because McLaren are gonna have a brief run before then* This weekend (the one we're half way... Read more ..read more

Logan's bill

I would love to see the total cost in dollars, Logan has racked up since entering F1. The kid is in way over his head. He needs to be in a lower category...maybe sports cars or GP2. At this rate, he will single-handedly bankrupt Williams ..read more

Mercedes 2nd seat

Who do you folks want to see in that second Mercedes seat and why? I really want to see Kimi Antonelli there. It is time to see if F1 could repeat the 1996 (Villeneuve v. Hill) or 2007 (Hamilton v. Alonso). Those were two rather exciting starts to driver careers with both drivers almost winning the WDC on entry to the sport. The young 'guns' Piastri, Norris, Verstappen and possibly Antonelli should prove exciting in the years to come. I only wish Jules Bianchi could have been in that mix... Read more ..read more

Interesting Top 10: The drivers with the highest win percentages in F1 history Measuring the greatness of F1 drivers down the generations is minefield but win percentages can level the playing field www.planetf1.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Max does not even make this hypothetical list, also shows how much things have changed. Wins are calculated by counting a drivers wins in a season and dividing the races in that season from 23. For example, a win in a 10 race season would equal 2.3 wins in our current 23 race season. I saw the Race at Austria and came to the conclusion that Max moved Left for the racing line. This is one decisive move. He can do it again it is still another move left. Now Lando behind him had 3 track limit violations and a fourth is a penalty. Red Bull probably told Max of this and he was trying to push Lando to track Limits. Its OK in in other sports you try to foul rival players to put them at a disadvantage. Now who owns F1, Liberty Media a Television company that broadcasts F1 and... Read more ..read more

no idea how to start... so here goes: (here it does NOT matter the cars, nor how they are currently in the standings... rather their personal "performance" in their "best moment") of the drivers who are CURRENTLY in F1 2024: QUESTION A -which drivers do you think are REALLY "championship material"? (make a list, but no matter the order) (here do NOT count alonzo, verstapen, nor hamilton because they are already champions)... Read more ..read more

F1 Car for 2026

I have seen on UTUBE a sim of the 2026 F1 car. It is shrunk horizontally and vertically so it looks like a F3 car. It has 30% less down force and a DRS system on the front and rear Wing. It will either work well for F1 or drivers will moan about lack of grip as they are used to more. It may lead to a major accident ..read more
