Put your windows to work with glazing, frosting and graphics! Window decals are images, graphics, and letters (or a combination of the three) adhered to a glass surface. They are also called vinyl window stickers, window clings, and window graphics. Glass surfaces are prime real estate for any retail, shopping centre, venue, office or business. It’s important to take advantage of every square inch to promote your brand and attract custsomers. Environmental Initiatives Signs & Lines are committed to improving our green footprint through every step of our sign design, manufacture and installation process. Our aim is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions where practicable. Our simple philosophy resolves around Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – the three R’s. However we are also looking at ways to extend this to the 5 R’s – adding in refuse and repair. Where possible we will repair signage elements rather than making from new. With one of the business owners with an honours degree in Envionmental Science, sustainabilty is deep rooted at Sig ..read more

City of Stirling Event Signage Signs & Lines is proud to have completed literally thousands of signs for City of Stirling over the last decade. Our varied work can be seen for the coastal totem signs, at parks and reserves, librarys, lesiure centres, pavement and surf clubs. HAND BRUSH SKILLS ON SHOW

Traditional Brush Skills Signage doesn’t have to be complicated to have an impact. Case in point – traditional brush skills. Some might say a dying art, but every now and then we get a project and client keen to use this old-school technique to elevate their brand. Traditional signwriters do not depend on technology like modern signage. They set out a sign with chalk and write or paint it by eye in freehand. These days, designs are often created by hand on a drawing board and later combined with CAD software for preliminary layout production – or pounce. This hand painted orange logo was craft ..read more

Signage Site Survey – Essential Works It’s been flat out in our Sales & Project Management team at Signs & Lines the last month as we finalise contracts, submit big tenders and get job sheets into the factory for production. The next few months our factory will be humming which is just the way we like it. One very important part of our process is checking progress on site. This ensures that the site will be ready for our installation team. Desktop reviews of GANTT charts and works programmes are all very well, but it’s also really valuable to get to site for a signage site su ..read more

Signs & Lines Fire Fighters to the Rescue Well it is National Safe Work Month so very fitting that our fire safety has been put to the test. In a very unusual ‘double-trouble’ situation, we have had 2 fires to contend with this month. The first occured out on the road. Our noble installers, Matt and Mark, came to the rescue of this fire stricken ute on their way home from a job. Known in the trade as signies (ie people that make or install signage), it was signies to the rescue in a gallant fire-fighting moment. As they drove past the ute’s driver there are cries of ‘help’ from the audio a ..read more
