Fayette County Prosecuting Attorney Anthony Ciliberti Jr. announced April 22 that a judge sentenced Carl Cox to two life sentences for the first-degree murders of his daughter, Rhonda Cox, and his son-in-law, James "Jimmy" Neal II. On Monday, April 15, the juvenile victim, accompanied by her grandmother, spoke with officers at the Webster Police Department and alleged Walter Fanion "lured her inside his car" at Memorial Beach. CENTENNIAL, Colo. (TCD) -- A 46-year-old man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing his wife a day before their divorce was set to be finalized in 2023. According to the Colorado 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office, on April 22, a judge sentenced David Lechner to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the first-degree murder of his wife, Tracy Lechner. (TCD) -- Deputies have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of setting a vehicle on fire and tampering with evidence after his father was recently arrested for allegedly killing his wife in January.  In a press conference last month, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said that on Jan. 19, Amber Estep’s mother reported her missing after not hearing from her for several days. NIXON, Texas (TCD) -- A 10-year-old boy reportedly confessed to fatally shooting a 32-year-old stranger while the man was sleeping two years ago. According to a news release from the Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office, on Jan. 18, 2022, the owner of Lazy J RV Park learned one of his tenants, Brandon Rasberry, had failed to show up to work for two days. LUMBERTON, N.C. (TCD) --  A state employee was killed last month after a man carjacked his department-owned vehicle and fatally struck him with it before driving off. Lumberton Police said that on the morning of March 14, emergency dispatch received a call about an attempted carjacking on the 4100 block of West 5th Street.
