I've never surfed anywhere other than the pacific ocean. So would love to visit the Caribbean side, be it an island or a central American country. I've flown many times and this last trip, Friday to Oakland and back yesterday, I experienced tremendous pain behind my left eye socket/eyebrow upon descending. It's never happened before. I thought I was having a stroke or something. My left eye started watering as well. But I read it's not that uncommon. It was awful. AFAIK I don't have a sinus infection, at least I have no other symptoms. No pain or discomfort was felt during ascension, though. I've read decongestants can help. Anyone... Hi all, Looking to take a longer term trip in a few years, been thinking of doing the remote work thing. Brazil keeps coming up on the list for several reasons: learning a new language (almost fluent in Spanish here), surf everyday in warm weather without, I guess, the pressure of always trying to score perfect waves.
