So I'm in the process of negotiation for a new job that would put me in Philly (currently in NY/Brooklyn). I'm pretty stocked about the idea of moving somewhere cheaper and out of yuryville.
The wife would probably prefer to be in the city proper but has already agreed to look at south NJ so I can have an easier time getting to the shore and we can get some more space. For better or worse I think commuting from the Ventor/AC area is out, which tbh I'm okay with. I've spent enough time at...

Hello everyone, I am organizing my very first surfing journey to Spain and I feel a lot of excitement. Truthfully, I am somewhat uncertain about how to begin this task. Therefore, your assistance and knowledge would be greatly valued by me. What are important surf places in Spain to see? I know Mundaka and Zarautz, but are there other less known spots good for surfing that you recommend I explore? Could you tell me when is the best season for surfing? I want to really enjoy my visit and...

Looking at doing a delayed 2 week honeymoon April/May '21 if it's possible by then. It's also going to be very close to the end of her Medical Residency so that's extra cause for celebration. She's been on about going somewhere tropical, all inclusive, five star, overwater rooms, etc. and has specifically mentioned the Maldives. I've already accepted I'm going to be dumping loads of cash I'd rather not spend (but whatever, she deserves it) so I might as well get some good surf out of it...

Anyone familiar with this bag? Price point is pretty good for wheeled 3/4 boards, no listing of weight, which is what I am after, emailed them no word back yet, and I thought I read/heard somewhere that silver bags were now prohibited in some places???-maybe that was in a dream or something.

I’m sure it’s understood that this Hajj will be performed in Indo.
I finally will be pulling the trigger.
Boat vs camp? Specific recs?
Potential for this autumn, maybe next.
I have reasonable funds available, somewhat limited time (10-14 days), and an eagerness that is bolstered by a mid life crisis.

Going with family and was wondering if it's worth brining a couple of boards. I know it's swell dependent but just seeing if it's worth the hassle or if I should just look to rent. If I rent, anyone know of any good places?
Surfing is definitely not a priority but I can probably get out most days if I want to.

Wife says let’s do a trip first week of May. We usually go to Rincon, PR or Nosara, CR, and she really loves both, but we want to try something different this time.
I’ve been looking into Mizata and seems like a nice enough spot to bring her and decent enough waves for me to enjoy. She doesn’t surf and doesn’t require much on these types of trips…just a pool, a beach, a restaurant/bar nearby, and obviously a nice place to sleep. My research shows that Mizata has all of this plus some decent...

Hey guys, looking for good places to stay and activities around Hermosa. I'll have a rental car 4x4 and it should be in May. I plan on surfing at least a couple hours a day, if my shoulders can take it and the waves are good. But whats there to do with the wifey in the off time? I know Jaco is down the road, worth going to dinner and some drinks there? Hiking in jungle, etc?
Also, last time i went to Hermosa we surfed in front of Backyard Bar and it was great. I see they have a nice hotel...
