I have a 2004 Volkswagen Passat For about a week I was having problems starting the car. I would turn the car off to go into gas station come back out and press the clutch in and turn the key and it wouldn't do anything I would try it surprises all over again and then it would crank for about a second and then stop eventually I can get it started. I received a BHW engine that has had an injector nozzle swap performed, but don’t have any records as to what the nozzle specs are. Is there any way to identify the nozzles? They have 955 1355 printed on the nozzle barrel. Searching for these numbers yields nothing. Crazy electronic tranny problems that have always gone away with a "key cycle"... not anymore. Stuck now in that "solid red bar" mode where the shift position normally displays, and doesn't wanna go much at all. Hello, guys. passat b5 1.9tdi AFN 97y. the airbag error cannot be deleted, of course, the famous 65535. I had that problem 15 years ago on an Audi, it was solved by replacing the airbag control unit. the catalog number should have had the letter G instead of J. something had to be coded, mostly he said I could do it myself with vcds, but there was a handyman nearby and he solved it in a few minutes. Key only turns forward let’s say half way. I can put it neutral but it will not turn further to start.
