Recently noticed after heavy rain that when i open the boot - water comes from within the boot trim(door card), i've taken the trim all off now and the electic cabling to the heated windscreen on one side is very wet - any ideas on where the water might be getting in? Hi all. I have noticed my steering wheel is off by the minimal of margins. But me being me it bugs me on the motorway. Car is aligned perfectly no pulling, even wear, tracks dead straight so don't see the point of getting it aligned to correct the steering wheel. So my question is if i disconnect airbag and shift the steering wheel 1 spline should i exany complications. Hello, Back again with another Air Con fault. This time it's completely dead. Last year I had issues with it being intermittent, unforutnately over winter it seems to have completely died. A flap reset doesn't resolve the issue. I get air from inside and out - all vents are working correctly. What I did notice was the AC doesn't even try to come on. Using an AC Pro top up and meter reader (no top up bottle attached) it shows a PSI of around 70 (which apparently is normal when it's not on)... Dead AirCon ..read more

Hello! I have a 2015 Passat B8 2.0 TDi. A couple of weeks back the Check coolant alarm went off with a red triangle on display. Checked coolant and all was fine. Did it a few times over a couple of days but then stopped. Started car a few days back and it just turned over like it wasn't going to fire up and began bleeping. Hi all, I have just had the "Instrument Cluster Error. Workshop!" appear on my 2016 Passat with all of the warning lights. I have plugged it in to diagnostic and get the following error code: 10485833 - Faulty control module I tried resetting it from the diagnostic but it keeps throwing the error up. I'd be really grateful if anyone can shed any info on how to solve it without taking it to a VW garage for a replacement cluster....It doesn't seem to be the speaker issue as all the audio... My 2015 Passat has Adaptive Cruise Control (AAC) running. I'm not a great fan of it and much prefer standard cruise control. Does anyone know if VAG-COM (by RossTech) can be used to code the appropriate unit to disable the AAC and make the car use standard cruise control work instead?
