Best way is to have the button inside fail—lift struggles to open and then nothing. THEN, use the button on the hatch and it opens. Any other order is a complete crapshoot. When it works it works fine. Other times it struggles and falls. Piston? Motor? new To VW so I’m lost right now ..read more

Hi, I recently acquired a 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI, and upon starting and driving it for the first time I noticed it had a concerning sounding noise at idle. However, sometimes it will randomly decide to stop making the noise and then start making it again about 15 seconds later. So when I bought my 2004 Vw Passat 1.8t,the car was miss firing. i Told the guy I would meet The guy in the afternoon after he changed the spark plugs and ran fuel additives through it. after I bought it, it was still miss firing, I replaced the spark plugs, coils, and fuel injectors.
