Ive been looking around at power supplies, in a few different places, and found this on one of the sites.... From what Ive read about these you can get them in a 35 amp, 55, 75, and a 100 amp...and they can be setup to to 13.2v, 13.6v, and 14.4v....and it has a fan inside it that kicks on when needed, and when you buy one new, it has a 2 year warranty on it... I just picked up this radio. Everything works but no modulation. Throws a strong carrier. Weather channels come in good, squelch works & scans fine. I've tried another mic, it is not the antenna, running off a pwr supply that works on several other radios. Everything external checks out. Internally nothing is burnt, soldering looks fine, nice cone shaped & shiny. Does anyone have any experience with this radio or suggestions what I can try? Tks in adv ..read more

Hey Gang, My 1980's HP "battleship" spectrum analyzer bit the dust so I am looking for ideas for a replacement. At this point I am not looking to spend $1000+ for one and am leary of some used ones I see. The truth is, all I have been using it for over the past few years has been the 54MHz adjustment. Hope all is well. I have been offline for awhile. I had issues a few years (2020) back trying to wrangle in a Sirio 2016 direct from overseas and with several botched packages from the UK distributor ended up with 7/8's of a antenna and literally tossed the darn thing out. I have a Kenwood TS-430S transceiver that I want to have checked out and brought up to 100%. I looked at the Kenwood on-line site and checked for authorized repair . Their list of international repair centers has not been updated since 2003 and is worthless. I am looking for a company or an individual with Kenwood repair experience to look at my 430S. I have a Galaxy DX929 AM radio. There is good receive Audio and good tx and rx. There is no mic audio and no pa audio. If i key radio about 3 watts and turn on a radio next to i can not hear any audio when I keyup. If i turn on the echo and then key up I can just faintly hear the mic audio with echo.
