Best Behaviour K9 are excited to announce our K9 First Aid Course on the 23rd of October 2022 at 10am. The course is held at our Sheffield training school and lasts approximately 4.5 hours.
This half day course has been developed with members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and covers:
· How to perform a full body exam
· Dog’s vitals – heart rate, breathing rate and temperature.
· CPR
· Choking
· Bleeds
· Poisoning
· Seizures
· Drowning
· Burns & scalds
· Canine shock
· Dog fights
· Heatstroke
· Eye injuries

The next two day course will be held on the 26th and 27th of September 2022 at our facility in Sheffield 8.30am-5pm. The full address is Best Behaviour K9, 74 Catley Road, Darnall, Sheffield S9 5JF.
The aim of the course is to provide the trainer with the skills and knowledge to confidently teach their Scentwork students to a level where they can compete at levels 4-6 in SWUK trials. The course is also designed to provide the trainer with all the skills they need to run successful Scentwork UK training sessions.

If you currently have little or no experience in Scentwork then you would need to attend an introductory course first to be eligible to join the Scentwork UK Train The Trainer – Level 1 course.
We offer an Introduction To Scentwork course for trainers with little or no working experience in Scentwork. Our next available course will take place on Monday 17th October 2022 9am-2pm.
(It takes place at our training school in Sheffield which is at 74 Catley Road, Sheffield, S9 5JF).
