After successfully flying their first home-made passenger aircraft, the C919 recently, China has completed its first home-made cruise liner. Under construction for Adora Cruises, the Adora Magic City was floated out last week. The vessel is now undergoing a six-day undocking operation that includes a series of trials and equipment testing. The 5,000 guest cruise ship is among the biggest with a weight of 135,000-ton and is equipped with a total of 20 “super-large” lifeboats as reported.
