It does play cds, just makes noise when the carousel is moving. I changed the 2 belts but that did not help. It made the same noise before I changed the 2 belts. I did not change the door belt because the door is not making noise. Anyone know what the issue is? Thanks ..read more

I have a strange one here. hoping to hear from other owners to confirm you can not access 7.1 analog input without the remote. this is a pet peeve of mine to have features that cannot be selected without the original remote. I have purchased a Chinese knockoff remote but nothing there either. the original remotes for these models seem to be rare as hens teeth and 80+ bucks if you can find one. thank you ..read more

I've had a good quality Jamo 7.1 AVR for many years. Tonight I noticed something unusual. I've recently interfaced it with a Marantz AVR's optical output. The Marantz has a number of digital input sources. The AVR showed two new settings options for Pro Logic. Menu screen showed DD in front of the PLII and PLIIX for Cinema and Music. I have been owning Kenwood A/V receiver KR-V8050 for some time now. It's 1992 model and is working normally till now as i had been pairing that with Technics SB-G900 speakers of made year 1984. I had just bought a active subwoofer as those speakers couldn't produce bass as required due to my room being big. I have added JBL Stage A120P. I'm a TV streaming novice. We have a Samsung series 6000 TV from 2012. Also purchased a Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter for use with this TV. It connects by way of HDMI. Recently at Netflix login, says this dongle is no longer supported. Would you recommend a replacement dongle/device to use for streaming (Netflix etc) on this TV, and possibly for new TVs, if this TV dies tomorrow? Hi all, I am using HDMI ARC in a pretty basic way. My Sony receiver has a single HDMI ARC tv port meant to send audio/video to the HDMI ARC port on my TV and also receive audio from the TV with a single HDMI cable and no separate audio connection (thus, ARC). It works great. I want to connect my hearing aids to this system while still getting audio to the receiver. It would be the same as if I wanted to connect a 2nd audio system to it. Hi guys, I'll start by saying that I undestrand nothing about AV... So my problem is that I've got at home a Yamaha DSP A492 Amplifier and i wanted to connect it to my PC.
